New Life Women
Realizing the hazards of alcohol and drug abuse to the social, physical and mental health of youths and society at large, and its contribution to the ethno-religious violence in Jos, WOWWI undertook a drastic step in stemming its tide in the society.
Project Common Bond
In collaboration with Tuesday’s Children New York, teenage girls who were victims of violent conflict attend an annual Trauma Healing Program in the United States tagged ‘Project Common Bond’ under the platform of WOWWI.
In partnership with United States Institute of Peace, we facilitate Dialogues between the Police and communities in Plateau State. The aim is to strengthen community policing and ensure security in our host communities. It helps us to engender peace.
The inter-faith project was first introduced by Women Without Walls Initiative in March 2017, with the first interfaith conference on March 8, 2017. The Interfaith dialogues was envisioned by WOWWI as a bridge to peace building and conflict resolution.
